Following Bangladesh’s disappointing end to the 2019 Cricket World Cup in their 94-run defeat to Pakistan at Lord’s in London, Shahriar Nafees has mixed feelings in what has been an up-and-down tournament for his country. Nafees feels the burden fell on Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman too much in the last six weeks but also said ‘the only way is up’ for this Bangladesh team.
