ESPNcricinfo’s Arjun Pandit, Michael Hussey, Murali Kartik and Shahriar Nafees debate whether the umpire’s decision review system was right in overturning Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan’s lbw dismissal vs. Afghanistan at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton. Kartik says he has trouble trusting DRS because of the many variables that go into it, while Hussey was surprised to see that ball tracking had Rashid Khan’s delivery going over the stumps instead of hitting at least the bails. Nafees was convinced the dismissal would be overturned, but also feels that cricket should go back to trusting human decisions more than technology.
