Three years ago at the United States Grand Prix, the Red Bull Racing pit crew had perhaps its finest hour, completing a pitstop on Mark Webber’s car in a World Record time of 1.923s.
It beat their own record of 2.05s, set earlier in the season and was, of course, the first ever pitstop to
break the two seconds barrier.
In honour of that, Wednesday 19 October tomorrow sees the global premier of a brand new
documentary entitled The History of the Pit Stop: Gone in 2 Seconds which will be broadcast on
www.Redbull.tv at 2200hrs*, then available on demand.
A series of pit stop features are now available to download, exploring what else a driver can do in 1.92
seconds, as well as extended interview selects with Gordon Murray and Red Bull Racing Team Manager
