Even though X-Men: Days of Future Past hasn't been released yet, director Bryan Singer confirmed via Twitter that the sequel is set to be released for 2016. Currently titled X-Men: Apocalypse, the superhero film will most likely feature Apocalypse as the main villain.

In the comics, Apocalypse is one of X-Men's most formidable foes. An ancient mutant born over 5000 years ago, Apocalypse has the ability to control the molecules of his body, which allows him alter his form, enhance physical abilities, and transform his limbs into weapons. He's basically unstoppable, and in addition to an abundance of superhuman powers, he is also immortal. Good luck, X-Men.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for a May 27, 2016 release date.
