Since Grand Theft Auto III introduced the world to a 3D version of Liberty City in October 2001, games just haven't been the same. The advent of a 3D open-world environment, where you could interact with and do just about anything you want has changed the game. Vice City and San Andreas only improved on III's concept, and GTA IV took another leap forwards.
Nothing compares though, to GTA V, which is already being called one of the greatest games ever made. The massive size of the map, the incredibly rendered textures and physics of the game, the hundreds of vehicles at your disposal and the millions of occasionally irate computer-generated characters provide an environment where you can explore in a way like never before. And now that the PC version is finally out, the amount of people creating video game mayhem is going to skyrocket.
