The Equalizer adaptation marks the first time director Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington have worked together since 2001's Training Day. Considering that movie ended up garnering Washington his first Best Actor Oscar (he previously earned Best Supporting Actor gold for 1989's Glory), expectations are high for this reunion.
