This 4th of July, own the party with this unbelievable American Flag BBQ. Don't worry, it's easier than you think.
Here's what you'll need:
- Red Pepper
- Tomato
- Beef Steak
- Cod Steak
- Onion
- White Asparagus
- Potatoes
- Shrimp
- Chicken Breasts
- Prosciutto
- Chorizo Sausage
- Blueberries
- Blackberries
- Whipped Cream
- Fresh Oregano
- Fresh Dill
- Fresh Terragon
- Fresh Basil
- Lemon Juice
- Olive Oil
- Smoke Paprika
- Salt Flakes
- Black Pepper
- Montreal Steak Spice
And this is how to make it:
Slice up the red pepper and toss into a metal bowl along with some salt flakes, pepper, and some olive oil.
Rub the steak with olive oil, then season it with Montreal steak spice.
Rub the cod steak with olive oil, then rub it with a mixture of salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper.
Peel the onions and drizzle them with olive oil. Season with salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper. Repeat the process with the asparagus.
Toss the fingerling potatoes into a bowl with olive oil, salt flakes, and some freshly ground black pepper.
Put the shrimp in a bowl. Drizzle them with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
The onions and the potatoes will take the longest to cook, so make sure to place those on the grill first, followed by the other veggies, and then the meat.
Take the fresh oregano, dill, and basil and give them a rough chop. Toss them into a bowl along with the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and then crush it all together.
Once everything is cooked, remove it from the heat and give everything a rough chop.
Drizzle some olive oil on your cutting board, then lay down the parchment paper and draw the outline of the American flag.
Place the different ingredients all over the flag. All you need to do is make sure the colors match.
Roll up the prosciutto to make a border for the berries. Then lay out the berries and use the whipped cream for the stars.
