Say what you want... but the vast majority of you didn't guess this twist. There's no shame in admitting director M. Night Shyamalan fooled you in a major way with his last-minute Sixth Sense shocker (after all, the real shame is in thinking Lady in the Water and After Earth were good ideas).

Jokes aside (and there are a ton), The Sixth Sense was a game-changer, and the truth is that Shyamalan might have set the bar a little too high for himself here by accident. The man is still an accomplished and talented filmmaker and this will go down as one of the top films of the '90s, if for no other reason than because it shook audiences out of their comfort zones in a major way.
