Gaming on the PC has always offered a fantastic experience for it's users. You can use a mouse and keyboard, or a console controller. You can connect multiple monitors, and play at whatever resolution you want. For many though, the barrier to entry is just too high. Custom gaming PC manufacturers charge a hefty premium, and building your own requires a bit too many hoops for the average gamer out there.
Razer hopes to solve at least a few of these problems with a bold new idea they call Project Christine. The proposed product takes a fully modular approach to building and upgrading your PC, segregating each component into simple plug-and-play, self contained pods that plug into the main skeleton of the device. For one, this means that upgrading or swapping components like your CPU, graphics card, or storage is a breeze. But more importantly, this would pretty much mean you never have to ditch your old computer again. You could theoretically keep upgrading and swapping out components indefinitely.
It's a work in progress, and we don't have a release date yet, but this is a very innovative solution and we're definitely interested in hearing more.
