Artist Miquel Barceló joined by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta and 125th Anniversary Commissioner David Carabén to reveal the Club’s 125th Anniversary poster, marking the start of this year’s activities to celebrate the Club’s landmark moment. Inspired by the 125th anniversary manifesto, “We want the ball”, Barceló presented the 125th anniversary poster, following in the footsteps of other great international artists. Previous commemorative posters for the club’s anniversaries saw creations by Josep Sagrelles (25th anniversary), Sebastián Rey Padilla (50th), Joan Miró (75th) and Antoni Tàpies, who created the Club’s Centenary poster in 1999.
