Family credits David Beaty with saving their child's life

In 2013, Kansas head coach David Beaty was an assistant at Texas A&M. One day while out in Houston at a trampoline park with his family, a young man (Max Menchaca) fell through a hole in one of the trampolines. Beaty dove in to help him and eventually the boy would survive; but endured a fractured skull and three brain hemorrhages. The family credits Beaty with saving the kids life. He's now a second-year student at Sam Houston State. Menchaca will live with long term effects of the brain injury forever.
