Real Madrid close the group stages with a perfect run after a brilliant Joselu Mato brace and a Dani Ceballos goal against Union Berlin on matchday 6 of the group stages. The Whites had to recover from Volland’s opening goal on the stroke of halftime but managed to turn the game on its head in the second half courtesy of two headed goals from Joselu. In the 85th minute, Kral, restored parity for the hosts, but Ceballos struck with a deflected shot from the edge of the area four minutes later to hand Ancelotti‘s side the three points. Real Madrid completed the group stage with a 100%-win record, the third time the club has done so after the achievements in 2011/12 and 2014/15. They will now discover their next opponents in the last 16 in Monday’s draw, but for now, don’t miss all the action from Berlin!
