If you’re anything like me, when the movie trades announced a new Jurassic Park reboot/sequel/reimagining, you probably said to yourself “do we really need this? Is nothing from my childhood sacred?” and you’d have had good reason. It seems like any movie released in the 80s or 90s is currently up for a reboot in Hollywood but like Mad Max: Fury Road recently proved, a well-planned relaunch of a dead property can have fantastic results. Or it could be Robocop.
Either way, the build up for Jurassic World has slowly but surely gotten me very excited for what might hit screens this weekend, so let’s countdown ten reasons why Jurassic World might actually just be the best movie in the franchise….
