The 23 most fuel-efficient truck drivers in the world, already winners in national competitions, gathered on September 19th at Volvo Demo Centre in Gothenburg to take part in the prestigious Drivers’ Fuel Challenge World Final. A competition where every drop counts. The rules are simple – drive the Volvo FH truck around the 6.9 kilometre track within 13 minutes using as little fuel as possible. Who will be the champion? Watch the crowning of the world’s most fuel-efficient driver 2014.

“The driver has a huge impact on the fuel consumption – up to 10 percent,” says Andrew Low, Volvo Trucks Driver Development Manger and Competition Manager of this years Drivers’ Fuel Challenge World Final.
