Steve Nicol and Alejandro Moreno defend the VAR decision to disallow Manchester City’s potential winning goal in stoppage time of a 2-2 draw vs. Tottenham in the Premier League. Nicol says the handball rule is clear, and Man City benefited from a handball in the buildup before Gabriel Jesus put the ball in the net. They do, however, contend City should have been awarded a penalty kick in the first half after Rodri was pulled down by Erik Lamela. Nicol and Moreno both consider that incident a clear and obvious penalty.
