Spanish classical guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas meets Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra in Zurich. Ahead of their concert together, they sit together in a little traditional chalet. Pablo Sáinz Villegas plays a bit of Francisco Tárrega's "Gran Jota," and explains about the different styles of Spanish music and dance.

The two got together before their concert at the Tonhalle Zurich, where they performed a completely Spanish program featuring "Concierto de Aranjuez" by Joaquín Rodrigo and "El sombrero de tres picos" by Manuel de Falla.

Pablo and Alondra met each other 15 years ago when they were students at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. From then on they played together regularly. In 2010 they recorded Manuel Ponce's "Concierto del Sur for Guitar und Orchestra" with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas.
