A third of the population of Mauritania lives, directly or indirectly, from artisanal fisheries. Bamba Fall, a unionist fisherman, invites us into the hectic activity of the port of Nouakchott: the tragic stories in the sea of old fishermen, the hard work of fishing gear from blacksmithing, imaginatively recycled materials, the sale of fish by bold women, the education of children by the hand of Imam of the mosque... A world in which the dangerous art of fishing exists thanks to the solidarity of those who share it.
