When Newfoundland-born actor Allan Hawco met up with George for a special interview in Gros Morne National Park one of the topics that came up was fellow actor Gordon Pinsent.

It turns out Hawco, who stars in Republic of Doyle, thinks rather highly of the Companion of the Order of Canada.

Allan Hawco's interview with George airs Wednesday, March 19 on CBC. Hawco will star in the play Belleville, which runs in Toronto from April 6 to May 4, 2014, at the Berkeley Street Theatre.

George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight airs weeknights at 7 and 11:30 pm on CBC Television
