Asuperb playing career has come to an end for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He announced his retirement on Sunday at the San Siro stadium after the final game of the 2022/23 Serie A season that saw AC Milan overcome Hellas Verona 3-1. The Swedish striker hangs up his boots aged 41 years old, after scoring 573 goals over 988 games for his different club sides and the Swedish national team.

His clubs include FC Barcelona, with Ibrahimovic arriving in the summer of 2009 from Inter Milan. He ended up playing 45 competitive games in the 2009/10 season, scoring 21 goals, and winning 1 Spanish Super Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 World Club Cup., and 1 Liga title.
